It’s Thursday morning. What’s the scene at your workplace?
We’ve just opened a beautiful new office in Coconut Grove, and it feels like a second home. The space is cozy, with tasteful design that reflects our brand’s sophistication and attention to detail. I oversee the business for Latin America and the USA for NUBA, a luxury travel agency. Right now, we’re in a thrilling phase of expansion and transformation.
What’s on the agenda for today?
A few key meetings with our operations teams to discuss ongoing projects and ensure everything is on track. For lunch, I’m meeting one of our top hotel partners at Amal in Coconut Grove, a fantastic spot with exquisite Lebanese cuisine and a vibrant atmosphere. Later this evening, I’m unwinding, playing padel with friends.
Any bar or restaurant plans today, tonight, this weekend?
Being Italian, I have a soft spot for Casa Tua, a classic choice for a beautifully prepared meal and warm ambiance. For dinner, I also love Mandolin for its charming setting and Mediterranean flavors, and when I’m in the mood for excellent Mexican food, Koko is my go-to. Recently, I went to the cabaret show at Faena, and it was absolutely spectacular — a truly unforgettable experience.
How about a little leisure or culture?
A perfect day starts with a morning walk at Matheson Hammock Park, a beautiful spot in Miami with lush greenery, scenic views, and a serene atmosphere. For brunch, I’d recommend Eating House in Coral Gables, a charming spot close to home with a creative menu and a cozy vibe. Later in the afternoon, Key Biscayne is the ideal place to unwind—whether it’s relaxing on the beach or taking in the views at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park.
Any weekend getaways?
If you’re up for a quick flight, Harbour Island in the Bahamas is a fantastic getaway. Its true Caribbean charm, pink sand beaches, and laid-back vibe make it an idyllic escape.
What was your last great vacation?
An unforgettable family trip to Botswana with my six-year-old. We stayed at several amazing wilderness lodges which offered an incredible balance of luxury and immersion in nature.
What store or service do you always recommend?
The new Leica camera store in Coral Gables.
